Sherrills Ford – Terrell Fire & Rescue, an equal opportunity employer, will be taking applications for six (6) engineer positions.  Applications are available at the department’s Headquarters located at 4011 Slanting Bridge Road in Sherrills Ford, or on line at www.sftfr.net.   Completed applications must be mailed, or personally delivered to the department no later than June 9, 2008.  (Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of applications but are recommended) All applications and resumes should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to Chief Keith A. Bost.

                        24 / 48 Rotating Schedule

 The department will notify qualified applicants of their candidacy by June 11^th, 2008.  When notified, the candidate will be given an appointment to take the required written test and the Certified Physical Agility Test (CPAT).  An overview of the CPAT is available here.  Upon satisfactory completion of both, the candidate will then be given an interview appointment.  Candidates who are selected for hire from the process will start on July 1^st, 2008.
