On behalf of the 60+ men and women of the Sherrills Ford – Terrell Fire & Rescue, thank you for visiting our web-site.

The Sherrills Ford – Terrell Fire & Rescue Department was formed by a handful of community members in 1972. Since that day, your fire department has continued to grow with foresight from the community, the Board of Directors of the Fire Department, and Fire Department Administration.  

Our goal as your fire department is to respond to you in your times of need and to make sure that our firefighters are highly educated and trained to help you through them. I feel that our firefighters are among the most productive in the nation and I am honored to be a part of such a fine Department.

We hold all of our firefighters to our Core Values: Pride, Honor, & Integrity. We, the fire service believe in these words and the meaning of the words.  This Fire Department has broken the meaning of the words down and provides every member, new and old, a copy of the meanings. Next, this department operates off of the basic Company Slogan of “Be Nice”. It is just that simple, we ask all of our employees, volunteers and career firefighters to just “Be Nice” and with that, I believe this fire department provides the best customer service in the nation to our community.
